Going to see My Girls!

It's raining but I don't care.  I'm going to see my girls with my husband.  They are two hours away at college and we are taking them to lunch.  Then we are going to an "all you can eat spaghetti fund raiser.  Held a Sympathy Card workshop last night and made some beautiful cards.  I will share them with you later.  One of the girls had never stamped before and you wouldn't have known it when you saw her put these cards together!!!  Way to go Wendy.  And Linda, thanks for helping me get things together the other day.  You are the best!!  Well gotta go get ready to see the  girls.  The only thing that would make it perfect would be if our son was there with us.  Oh well some have to work on weekends!  Sorry Matt.

Bird On A Branch #3

Bird On A Branch #3, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

This was my last card I made tonight and I wanted to use Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point. Do you think the flower is too much?

This was pretty simple but I used up some DSP scraps I had and it seemed to work

I love this set. Tried stamping the branch in different spots. I stamped the bird in More Mustard, and then sponged the card with Rose Red and So Saffron. I used Chocolate Chip and Rose Red Paper on Whisper White with Chocolate Chip ribbon for an accent.

Challenge this week

Challenge this week, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

The challenge from my upline this week was to use the colors Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Green Galore, and Whisper White. I used the Splatter stamp from the set Bird on A Branch and the Polka Dot Punches which work great with Stampin Up Punches. The Sizzix Top Note and Bird and Blooms sizzix set were also used and the ribbon and hardware finished it off. So what do you think. Too much or not?

Mr. Darcy

Mr. Darcy, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

Isn't he adorable? This is Mr. Darcy named after Pride and Prejudice's character. He is a Shih Tzu and is about 9 weeks in this picture. He is spoiled rotten but is great company for me now that I am pretty much an empty nester.

Challenge

DSC08185, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

This was a challenge from my upline Lisa to a group of us known as the glitterchicks. I used the new DSP "Pink Flamingo" and the daisies # 2 that I ran through the Big Shot. I texturized the center of the daises with the new textured plates. I hope you like it.
