Another Thank You Note

So Mr. Darcy went to the groomer again today. I have
to say he really needed to go. He wasn't smelling so good!
I always make a thank you card for the groomer and today
instead of stamping a dog on the card, I chose this cute little
guy I had forgotten about. When I went to pick up Mr. Darcy,
the groomer pointed to the window and showed me that they
had put all the cards I had made in the past up around the
window. What a compliment!

Nature's Nest

I did a swap with other demos this past week and we were to use
current DSP. I started to use one paper that I thought had what
looked like bubbles but when I put my glasses on, I realized they
were flowers! I was determine to use the seashell so I found
this paper from the Sweet Pea selection worked well.

Summer Anyone?

This was a challenge that called for using current DSP. While I
was trying to decide I saw this paper with the pink flamingo and
decided that he (or she) was going to be the focal point of my
card. I embellished it with Boho flower punches and a Sweet Pea
felt flower. Instead of brads I just use the circles from my punches.
Have a great day!

Mojo Monday 128

For this Mojo Monday challenge, I used several different
textures. There are so many choices out there and I couldn't
decide between the Petals a Plenty background and a DSP but
the embossed background won out. Then for my Old Olive
strip I did a little faux alligator look. I didn't have Summer
Sun brads to match the corduroy button so I just punched
out a couple of yellow circle dots with my Crop A Dile. I hope

Oh That Mr. Darcy!

So today I was teaching a brayer class and guess who wanted
to stamp too? Yep! He was right up in my lap and checking
everyone out and looking at what they were doing! I think he
was saying something like, "Hey this is my stamp area and no
one, I mean no one gets my stamp pad!!!! Always has to be
the center of attention.

So I was looking for Mr. Darcy yesterday after our walk and
couldn't find him. That's when I spotted him in the dining room
chewing on the dice from my Bunco group. Not the dice we play
with but a set someone can wear when they get a Bunco. So I guess
what Mr. Darcy is saying is that he wants to sub for anyone that
can't make the next game!!!!

Mojo Monday 127

Here is my entry this week for the MOJO challenge. I used
Thoroughly Modern DSP and the phrase is from Teeny Tiny
Wishes, a must have item!!!. Unfortunately the flowered
part of the paper is not showing up as dark as it really is. I
need a photography lesson to get the lighting right!
