This was my attempt of direct to paper technique. I tried to follow Michelle Zindorf's card but my colors in the foreground and sky came out darker and rougher. Still I was pleased with my first attempt at this technique. The tree is from the set "Lovely as a Tree" I love that set.

Last weeks challenge
This was a card I did last week but didn't enter in the challenge. I didn't care for the layout and so I really didn't like the card that much.
Thank you
Do you ever get a stamp set and then think to yourself. Why did I get this set? What was I going to do with it? Well this is one of the sets but I like it and it has a lot of potential
Sponge time
I didn't have all the stamps that Michelle Zindorf used in her creation but I tried to make stems work.
Sally's paper
My girlfriend Sally gave me this awesome handmade paper for my birthday. I put it on this gable green and I like the way it turned out. It feels fresh.

Bloom where u r planted
This is another attempt at trying the brayer. This is one of Michelle Zindorf's creations. I'm pretty proud of it.
Linda's creation
My friend Linda also tried her hand at using the brayer and sponging. I think she did an awesome job.
soft flowers
I saw these colors on the front of a recent Southern Living magazine. Love the combination. Baja breeze is one of my favorite colors. It just seems to go with everything.

Braying For Love
I have been trying to improve my brayer and sponging technique. I love Michelle Zindorf''s blog. Her work is awesome. I didn't have the same stamps as she used in a similar card but I thought this turned out pretty good for an amateur. I'm giving this one to my girlfriend Sally. Today is her birthday. I hope she likes it. By the way I used Thoughts and Prayers, Pocket Silhouettes, and Warm Words. I can't wait to get home today and play some more. Happy Friday!

Linda's Talent
Isn't this card great? My girlfriend and biggest supporter of my Stampin Up addiction made this card for her aunt. She always thinks she has to be hanging out with me in order to be creative but I think she does fine by herself. Not that I don't mind the company!!! She used the sets "Pocket Silhouettes" and "Best Kind Of Friend" which describes her to a "T".

Design Challenge #117
This isn't quite what I had in mind when I started thinking about this challenge but it turn out pretty well I think. I started off using the textured plate brayered with black and rolled through the Big Shot. One thing I learned that I will pass on to you is not to use the Black Staz On with the textured plate. The Black dye pad works better. The stamps are from Friends 24-7 and Warm Words.

Thoughts and Prayers
This and the next two cards are the ones we made at Friday night's stamp class. Everyone did an excellent job and we had fun. I think who ever receives these will be touched.
