Oh That Mr. Darcy!

So today I was teaching a brayer class and guess who wanted
to stamp too? Yep! He was right up in my lap and checking
everyone out and looking at what they were doing! I think he
was saying something like, "Hey this is my stamp area and no
one, I mean no one gets my stamp pad!!!! Always has to be
the center of attention.

So I was looking for Mr. Darcy yesterday after our walk and
couldn't find him. That's when I spotted him in the dining room
chewing on the dice from my Bunco group. Not the dice we play
with but a set someone can wear when they get a Bunco. So I guess
what Mr. Darcy is saying is that he wants to sub for anyone that
can't make the next game!!!!

Mojo Monday 127

Here is my entry this week for the MOJO challenge. I used
Thoroughly Modern DSP and the phrase is from Teeny Tiny
Wishes, a must have item!!!. Unfortunately the flowered
part of the paper is not showing up as dark as it really is. I
need a photography lesson to get the lighting right!

Mojo Monday 126

Do you find yourself looking through your stamp sets and saying something like
"Oh I forgot all about this set!"? I did that tonight and decided I would use the "For All
You Do" set with the Thoroughly Modern DSP to create something for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge. I have come to really like these challenges because as it has been said
before, it forces you to think outside your box. I played around with this and this is what I ended up with. I hope you enjoy it.

Busy Week

And today I made this card because I am sooooooo ready for
spring. I cased another card from M.Z. and this time I changed the
colors and made it spring like. I am really liking this card. I hope you
do too. And now I think I will put my feet up and watch a little of the Olympics.
Thanks for stopping by.

When ever I take Mr. Darcy for grooming and his "day of beauty", I always
make a card for his groomer with a dog on it. This is the card I made her for
Valentines. Yep, that could be Mr. Darcy in the front seat!!!

This past week I did a swap with my upline's downline group and made 10 of
these "direct to paper" technique cards that Michelle Zindorf had done and of course
I cased it adding the butterflies in the foreground. Now I know you think this is
hard to do but I am telling you it is easy peasy. I am offering a class in the next few
weeks showing how to do this.

Mojo Monday 125

This is my entry for this week's Mojo Monday challenge. If you
have never tried this, I really do encourage to try one. There are so many
different challenges out there and it is fun and gives you a goal to work
toward in a very short time. Well they give you a week. Not to shabby, right?
Apricot Appeal, Basic Gray, and Noveau Chic are the papers I used. I hope
you enjoy it.

Super Bowl Challenge

For today's challenge, I decided to make two cards choosing the team
colors of the Saints and the Colts. I hope you like them.

Butterflies in the Mail!

This was one of those cards that didn't turn out the way I envisioned
it in my head. I thought I could take the hearts out and put butterflies
in using this Wandering Words stamp but my butterflies were just a
little bigger than the hearts. Then I couldn't decide on the color scheme
for the butterflies. I finally decided after spending way too much time on
one card and just went with mambo melon.

Butterflies are Free!!!

So I made this card for another challenge. Seriously if you have never tried one you
should do it. It really forces you to think and get out of your comfort zone or your "I don't know what to do or where to start " mood. I used the "Embrace Life" stamp set with So
Saffron and Elegant Eggplant. I hope you enjoy it.

Friend to Friend

This is the first time I have ever made a trifold card and
I have to say it was a lot of fun. I just love this new Sweet
Pea paper out of the new Occasions Mini. I used the Good
Neighbor stamp set which I got for FREE from Stampin Up.
Ask me how you can get this set for free.

Mojo Monday 124

Use the DSP "Sending Love" for this little luv card. I used both sides of
one sheet cutting out a little of the heart flowers to use as a border. The
hearts were cut out using the Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslit. Then
I added a couple of corduroy buttons and some real red ribbon. Sentiment
is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes to complete this Mojo Monday challenge
