Mojito time

Mojito time, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

Used the Tart and Tangy set for the lime and God's Beauty set for the leaf. Summertime is just around the corner!!!

Courage

Courage, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

I cased this card from Michelle Zindorf which she called "Sunrise" but my husband is a firefighter and it reminded me of a forest fire so I found this old firefighter stamp that I used dimensionals with and wrote courage.

Isn't this "Just Beachy?"

Another cased card from Michelle Zindorf. This one was a lot of fun.

A Day at the Beach with Linda

This card was made by my very talented girlfriend Linda. It's an original too!!

Just Beachy

Just Beachy, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

Sponging, stamping, brayering, paper piercing, embossing. This card has it all. It is past my bedtime but I was determined to get this done for "Wacky Wednesday"

Blooming with Love

Blooming with Love, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

I love this set. You have so much to play with. I had stamped this and just kept moving it around on the table while I did other cards. It was part of my "Let's clean up all the little pieces of my stamp life" today. So this is what I came up with.

Butterflies are Free

I love this stamp set and the butterfly is from another hostess set God's Beauty.

I've got to Crow!

I've got to Crow!, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

This is from the hostess set Rustic Rooster and it had been sitting around on this whisper white paper and so I found this polka dot paper that I thought looked good with the Baja Breeze paper and ribbon.

Thoughts and Prayers

This had been my first attempt at a Michelle Zindorf card a few months ago and I never did anything with it. Not sure if this really does anything for it or not.

Well only one more day of Spring Break and then it's back to work.  Signed up for Convention this weekend and got my plane reservations.  Yippee!!  Can't wait for August.  Been busy doing everything but stamping.  Did clean up the "Stamp Room" and cut out paper for a Tuesday stamp class.  My youngest came home this weekend and we ran errands together today.  I love when one or both of my girls are home.  I really miss them when they aren't here.

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

I wanted to somehow highlight the trim on this and through several different trial and error methods I finally came up with this. After I brayered the Manhattan Flower textured impression with Pink Pirouette and ran it through the Big Shot I took the brayer, ran it through the Rose Red ink pad and lightly rolled it over the card so it would only pick up the white embossed area.

Look Mom. No Stamps!

Look Mom. No Stamps!, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

I cased this from Michelle Zindorf only I used the smaller oval punch and the flowers are a little different. The shadowing makes the card.

Blooming with happiness

Blooming with happiness, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

This is my take on Michelle Zindorf;s card today. The minute I saw it I had to try to make it especially because I have this stamp set "Blooming with Love. Shadowing, sponging and brayering are three techniques she uses all the time and I am learning slowly.

Practice makes perfect

No this card isn't perfect but when I was trying to come up with my design for this months card swap this is kind of how it started but I made some changes for the actual swap. I will post it Thursday or maybe Friday depending on how late I get home from our downline meeting.

Another of Michelle Zindorf's cards that I made by following her tutorials. I just love this and believe it or not it was very easy!

TGIF

What a great day today turned out to be.  My husband got us tickets to go see the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals play at Harbor Park in Norfolk this afternoon.  We thought the weather was going to be rainy but it turned into a very warm afternoon.  I even got sunburned!!!  The Orioles won but hometown boy Ryan Zimmerman who plays 3rd base for the Washington Nationals  hit a home run!  Way to go Ryan.  My daughter who is a big Orioles fan drove down from Richmond for the day to go see them and her best friend Beanie went with us.  So tomorrow will be dedicated to stamping.  I've got some new stamps that I haven't play with from the new Stampin Up mini catalog.  I hopefully will have a productive day and will post something by tomorrow evening.
