Bird On A Branch #3
This was my last card I made tonight and I wanted to use Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point. Do you think the flower is too much?
Bird On A Branch #2
This was pretty simple but I used up some DSP scraps I had and it seemed to work
Bird on a Branch #1
I love this set. Tried stamping the branch in different spots. I stamped the bird in More Mustard, and then sponged the card with Rose Red and So Saffron. I used Chocolate Chip and Rose Red Paper on Whisper White with Chocolate Chip ribbon for an accent.

Challenge this week
The challenge from my upline this week was to use the colors Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray, Green Galore, and Whisper White. I used the Splatter stamp from the set Bird on A Branch and the Polka Dot Punches which work great with Stampin Up Punches. The Sizzix Top Note and Bird and Blooms sizzix set were also used and the ribbon and hardware finished it off. So what do you think. Too much or not?

Mr. Darcy
Isn't he adorable? This is Mr. Darcy named after Pride and Prejudice's character. He is a Shih Tzu and is about 9 weeks in this picture. He is spoiled rotten but is great company for me now that I am pretty much an empty nester.

Challenge
This was a challenge from my upline Lisa to a group of us known as the glitterchicks. I used the new DSP "Pink Flamingo" and the daisies # 2 that I ran through the Big Shot. I texturized the center of the daises with the new textured plates. I hope you like it.

Daisies #1
I first saw this card done almost the same on Mary Fish's blog (and one of my favorites) "Stampin Pretty. Naturally I had to have everything to make this card asap including those awesome corduroy buttons. Check out the next card...
Daisies #2
Then the wheels in my head started turning again while in bed last night and I started thinking about those textured plates. Hmmm. So I got out my "distressed" textured plate and ran some Pacific point paper through the Big Shot and then turned it sideways and ran it through again. Next I punched out circles with my 3/4" punch and TA DAAA! Faux corduroy buttons!!! What do you think? Now you can make them in any color. Let me know what you think.
