These Boots are made for mud

I again cased this card from Michelle Zindorf, one of my favorite stampers and artist. Isn't it cool how she created the clapboard behind the table? Just took a sponge and a post it note. Mind you, mine is not exactly like hers but I'm happy with the results. I used "Scene in a Garden and Branch Out" stamp sets.

Circle Circus #2

Circle Circus, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

This stamp set has so much to give to us stampers. The possibilities are endless. With this card I just kept adding and adding. I mean when do you stop? I added the Crushed Curry Circle in the corner at the end Just when I thought I added enough it just seemed to be lacking something so I had this extra circle and just threw it on. What do you think. Here are both cards.

Autumn Days

Autumn Days, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

I found this little tin at Michaels which inspired this card. I used Crushed Curry to stamp the pheasant with and mounted it on Basic Gray with the willow stems embossed on it. I then stamped the wheat with the Crushed Curry on the Crushed Curry paper. Lastly I stamped the stem again with Stazon Black on white. I added words from the new Teeny Tiny Wishes set and added a ribbon. Might have to use this one for my swap.

love these birds. I cased this card from Michelle Zindorf but changed the flowers at the bottom and used the leaves from Embrace life.

Asian Artistry

When I think Asian I think of silk and kimonos and teals and pinks. I used the new Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo card stock. I first stamped my image in black and then sponged the rest with pink passion and bermuda bay I used my new Modern Label punch for my words. Not sure about the ribbon.

My Eyes are Bigger Than My Stomach!!!

You've heard that expression many times in your life haven't you?  Well that applied to me today only instead of being about food it was about making cards using up all my DSP and card stock that will be retired next month.  I love these colors so much and hope that Stampin Up will see that Baja Breeze and Pink Piourette must stay!!!  There's nothing even close to these colors in their array of paper and inks.  Anyway I only made 7 cards.  It was a nice day out and I got distracted a few times.  I potted some plants I bought yesterday, did a load of clothes, went to Walmart, and enjoyed Chicho's Pizza with my family on the front porch for dinner.  Did I mention I rode my bike with my girls afterward?  It was a beautiful evening and it was nice to have everyone home.  Well I only have 2 more weeks of school and then it will be time for some serious stamping.  Good night all.

Another cased Zindorf card. I made this for one of the secretaries at work and it actually matched her outfit that day!

Ocean Commotion

Ocean Commotion, originally uploaded by Pungo Stamper.

Did a recipe swap last month and this was my contribution. Lots of embossing and sponging. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of awesome recipe cards from fellow stamp demos.
